2027 Ford Super Duty®  Engines & Performance

Whether you’re pulling a trailer to a jobsite or loading up heavy equipment, the 2027 Ford Super Duty offers plenty of muscle for the task. Choose from two V8 engine options depending on your chosen configuration — a standard gas engine or an available turbo diesel. The base-level 7.3L V8 gas produces a powerful 420 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, making it a stellar choice for your daily grind. The 6.7L high-output Power Stroke® V8 turbo diesel is available on F-250 and F-350 models and comes standard as the sole engine on F-450 models, with an output of 500 horsepower and 1,200 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come equipped with a TorqShift®-G ten-speed automatic transmission.

Your choice of Super Duty model also determines the truck’s rear-wheel setup; the F-250 uses a single rear-wheel (SRW) configuration, while the F-350 gives you the flexibility to choose between SRW and dual rear wheels (DRW). The F-450 is exclusively built around a DRW setup, giving it the stance and hardware needed for its higher towing capabilities.

The F-250 offers up to 23,000 pounds of fifth-wheel/gooseneck towing capabilities, with a maximum 3,730-pound payload capacity. The F-350 takes things considerably further, supporting up to 38,000 pounds of fifth-wheel/gooseneck towing and 7,164 pounds of payload. At the top of the lineup, the F-450 can tow as much as 40,000 pounds and carry up to 5,917 pounds of payload.

There’s plenty of flexibility when configuring the 2027 Ford Super Duty for work or play. The lineup includes regular cab, super cab, and crew cab options, along with 6.75- and 8-foot bed choices. The three-passenger regular cab is only available with the 8-foot bed, while the five- or six-passenger super and crew cabs give you the choice of either bed length. Stow up to 78.7 cubic feet of cargo in the 8-foot bed and up to 65.6 cubic feet in the 6.75-foot bed. If you need additional storage space inside the cabin, each configuration can accommodate extra cargo behind the front row.
