1. Two Proven Powertrains
The base powertrain in the Maverick is a 2.5L hybrid engine paired with a CVT, producing 191 horsepower. It’s available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. An available 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder produces 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and comes only in all-wheel drive.

The Maverick’s FLEXBED system maximizes the 4.5-foot bed’s usability through integrated versatility and modularity. The bed includes 10 standard tie-downs for securing cargo, and the inner bed walls have pre-threaded slots for adding dividers.
Each bed comes with two 12V power outlets, while a 110V AC outlet is an available upgrade. The Multi-Position tailgate can be closed in the halfway position, allowing long items to lie flat. Finally, an in-bed storage cubby in XLT models and higher provides a handy waterproof storage space. Lariat models include two; one on each side.
