Power and Performance

The base model of the Mustang comes with a 315-horsepower turbo-four that gets 350 pound-feet of torque. The GT trim upgrades to a V8 to deliver 486 hp and 418 pound-feet of torque. The Mustang Dark Horse has a 500-hp V8 that provides 418 pound-feet of torque. At the top of the lineup, a new-for-2025 GT gets more than 800 horses and 650 pound-feet of torque with an incredible supercharged V8.

Opt for a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters or a six-speed manual with rev matching. Each model has selectable drive modes and launch control.
